In just 8 years Kris become the top driver in the CPCA to win the 2018 CPCA High point driver championship. Kris had a phenomenal year having 13 top 5 runs and 21 top 10 runs. He also finished in the top 5 at 4 and in the top 10 at 8 of the 10 CPCA tour stops last season. Kris won the Bonnyville and Poundmaker shows as well as winning the double header in Wainwright taking home both the show championship and the dash championship. At the 2018 CPCA Year-end awards banquet along with Kris taking home the high-point driver trophy, Kris’s horse Ike won the 2018 CPCA Equine Outfit of Excellence left leader. Kris had a strong finish at the 2018 Calgary stampede finishing 11th in the aggregate which no doubt helped him to earn an invite to the 2019 Calgary stampede which would make it Kris’s 6th appearance in a row.

How did you get into Chuckwagon Racing: My father Glen raced pony chuckwagons when I was a kid so that’s where I started.
Most Memorable Chuckwagon Racing Moment: Winning my first CPCA show in St. Walburg in 2014 and giving my dad the buckle.
