ABOUT

Robby made his debut with the CPCA in 2014, making 2022 his 8th year on the circuit. A third generation Pony Chuckwagon driver following his grandpa, Remi Ethier and Dad, Bert Ethier; he is the first in his family to take up the lines of a big wagon. Cancellation of Chuckwagon Racing in 2020 gave Robby a building year, and that proved lucrative in 2021. With the introduction of the North American Chuckwagon Championship in Lloydminster, Robby displayed his usual positive attitude and proved that the care for the horses along with experience are few reasons for his impressive 16th place finish on the 2021 CPCA Pro Tour.  2022 seen Robby continue to climb the standings and had several top 10 runs.  Robby is such a great ambassador to the sport who always has time to chat with fans and share his passion for the sport.  2023 you will see Robby continue to be competitive and run clean, safe and climb the standings.

Favourite Meal: Pizza.

Favourite Vacation Spot: Fishing at any lake in Saskatchewan. So long as they’re biting!

How did you get into Chuckwagon Racing: Family inherited trait – 3 generations of crazy!

Most Memorable Chuckwagon Racing Moment: 2016 created many great memories, but as all wagon people know, it’s the climb that counts! Reaching top 10 in Lloydminster at the CPCA Finals was amazing and memorable, making goals for the future.
