DJ’s hard work ethic has helped him become a contender in the CPCA. 2021 saw DJ having his most successful year finishing 8th in the standings. At one-time King was registered for the CPCA outriding school however he was drafted by the St. Louis Blues and went on to play in the NHL with the Blues and Washington Capitals. DJ and Chantal, along with their boys Jacob and Drew won the prestigious Family of the Year award at the 2019 CPCA banquet and DJ also took home the Bruce Bremner award for most consistent barreling.
