Along with 9 years of outriding experience Kris now has 8 years of driving experience under his belt. Kris placed 13th in the 2021 CPCA standings. Kris achieved his goal of being a rookie driver at the 2019 Calgary Stampede and looks forward to competing again, at the 2022 Calgary Stampede. Kris got to watch his cousins Vern Nolin, Shane Nolin, and BJ Carey for many years become successful, and now he has proven to be successful himself. You can be sure he will continue to be a contender in the 2022 season.
Favourite Vacation Spot: Anywhere with a beach.
How did you get into Chuckwagon Racing: Watching cousins Vern and Shane Nolin when they started in big wagons. Started helping around the bard, met Laboucanes through my other cousin BJ Carey, and worked for Norm Cuthbertson.
Most Memorable Chuckwagon Racing Moment: Winning Ponoka Stampede as a outrider and winning Rookie of the Year first year driving.
