Leslie’s start in wagon racing was different than most; we often see generations of it but in this case, it started as a bet.  Leslie started hanging around the King, Fiddler, Lajeunesse barn and next thing he knew he was being dared to start.  The rest is history.

Even though there is lots of banter that goes on between the crew Leslie credits DJ King, Calvin Fiddler, and Kale Lajeunesse for them taking him in and under there wing.  In 2022 Leslie was awarded the Rookie Driver of the CPCA

Leslie’s goals for 2023 season are to run clean, safe and move up the standings.  Leslie has 3 boys Darwin, Eldon, and Jonas and makes his home on Goodfish Lake Cree Nation.
